Online Sportbooks – Warriors Trade Jackson to Bobcats

Online sportbooks are going to be adjusting the odds on the Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Bobcats after the teams completed a blockbuster trade on Monday. Internet sportsbook had the Warriors trading Stephen Jackson to Charlotte in exchange for Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic.

Online sportbooks could favor the Bobcats more now that they have a big time scorer in Jackson. Online sportbooks had Acie Law also going to Charlotte but it was basically Jackson for Bell and Radmanovic.  Internet sportsbook stats show that Charlotte badly needs the offense that Jackson can supply to impact online sportbooks results. They are averaging an NBA-low 82.4 points per game as online sportbooks stats have it.

Internet sportsbook had one of the big reasons that Jackson going to Charlotte was head coach Larry Brown. “I know Stephen, he loves to play, and we’ve got to make it work out — and I’m confident it will,” Brown was quoted as telling ESPN. “Stephen gives us a lot of flexibility, but we lost a lot. Raja’s probably as good a defender as there is in the league at his position, and tough, and Vlade was an unbelievable teammate. But you make a trade and hope it helps your team, and you hope it helps the other team, too.”

The Bobcats can play defense but the simply couldn’t score enough to consistently win versus the odds at the online sportbooks. “We are struggling, we can’t score,” Brown added, “but one of the reasons we’re struggling was because Raja and Flip [Murray] were out and missed a lot of time, and Tyson [Chandler] and Boris basically missed all of preseason. Those are four key guys, plus we didn’t have rookie camp or summer league, so our rookies are a little behind. So there’s a lot of factors, but yeah, we have had problems scoring the ball. We’re defending well, but we just can’t make a shot.” Jackson last year was superb and he influenced the odds at online sportbooks. He averaged 20.7 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game as online sportbooks stats indicated and 6.5 assists per game.  The deal for Golden State is not very good on the court or versus the Internet sportsbook odds but it does help their chemistry and their payroll. They don’t have Jackson’s contract anymore and Bell’s contract expires after this online sportbooks year. Radmanovic is earning $6.5 million this online sportbooks season and set to earn $6.9 million next online sportbooks season.
