Peyton Manning Leads AFC Pro Bowlers Sportsbook Betting

Peyton Manning Leads AFC Pro Bowlers Sportsbook Betting.  For the first time ever, the Pro Bowl will be held a week before the Super Bowl so some top players will not be in the game. Sportsbooks traditionally don’t get a lot of action on the Pro Bowl but that might change since the game is held the week before the Super Bowl. Sportsbook betting had Manning as the starting quarterback for the AFC with the backups being San Diego’s Philip Rivers and New England’s Tom Brady.  Houston’s Matt Schaub got the snub even though he has better numbers than Brady.  The player that should have been on the team along with Schaub was San Diego’s Vincent Jackson. He is averaging 17.2 yards per catch and has nine touchdowns as sportsbooks stats show.

Tight end Antonio Gates is having a great sportsbook betting season for San Diego and he joins teammates Kris Dielman and Kassim Osgood on the team. Sportsbooks have San Diego’s Nate Kaeding as the kicker while Oakland’s Shane Lechler is the punter. The kick returner is Cleveland’s Joshua Cribbs.

Oakland’s Nnamdi Asomugha is considered the best cornerback in the league as sportsbook betting stats show with New York’s Darrelle Revis a close second. Denver got five players on the team led by safety Brian Dawkins.  Also making the team as sportsbook betting had it were left tackle Ryan Clady, linebacker Elvis Dumervil, cornerback Champ Bailey and wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

Baltimore got Ray Rice on the team along with defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and linebacker Ray Lewis. Sportsbook betting also had the Ravens putting fullback Le’Ron McClain and safety Ed Reed on the team. Other players on the AFC team as sportsbook betting had it include Cleveland’s Joe Thomas, Pittsburgh’s James Harrison and Casey Hampton.

Sportsbook betting had the Patriots with four; the Jets had three while the Dolphins and Bills got one each. New England’s four players as sportsbook betting has it are Brady, Logan Mankins, Vince Wilfork and Wes Welker.  The Jets got Alan Faneca, Nick Mangold and Darrelle Revis on the squad as sportsbook betting noted while the Bills got Jairus Byrd and the Dolphins had Jake Long. The Colts added Dallas Clark, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Jeff Saturday and Reggie Wayne.  Houston got Brian Cushing, Andre Johnson, DeMeco Ryans and Mario Williams on the team while Jacksonville got Maurice Jones-Drew.

Sportsbooks had the Cincinnati Bengals winning the AFC Central but they didn’t get one player on the Pro Bowl team. The Chiefs also had no players on the squad.
