Sportsbook – More Home Openers This Week in Baseball

Sportsbook More Home Openers This Week in Baseball. Last week the Major League Baseball season began with odds on the board at the sportsbook with a number of teams playing their home openers.  This week there are even more teams playing their home openers including the Boston Red Sox who will play their home opener on Friday against the New York Yankees?  It is a great week of baseball action at the offshore sportsbook.

Red Sox Hosting Yankees
The big home opener this week is on Friday as the Red Sox begin their 100th season at Fenway Park. There is no better way to begin a home season than with their hated rival the New York Yankees.

World Series Champs at Home
The defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants play their home opener on Friday as they host the St. Louis Cardinals.  The Giants will be able to celebrate their World Series title with the banner and the rings on Friday.

Phillies at Braves
The National League is expected to be a race in baseball odds at SBG between the Phillies and Braves so it is only appropriate that the Braves play their home opened against the Phillies.  That game will be another of the excellent ones on the schedule for Friday in baseball odds at the sportsbook

More Home Openers
Also on Friday it will be Detroit playing their home opener against the Kansas City Royals and the Tigers are favored at the offshore sportsbook.  The Twins host the Oakland Athletics in another home opener. It is Toronto hosting the Los Angeles Angels, the Seattle Mariners hosting the Cleveland Indians, the Mets hosting the Washington Nationals, the Arizona Diamondbacks hosting the Cincinnati Reds and the Houston Astros playing their home opener against the Florida Marlins. Earlier this week it was Baltimore playing their home opener against Detroit while Milwaukee hosted the Atlanta Braves in their home opener. Tuesday it was the Padres opening up their home schedule against the Giants while on Thursday it is the White Sox hosting the Rays and the Pirates playing their home opener against the Rockies.

The game between the Yankees and Red Sox on Friday will be televised on the MLB Network.  FOX will show the Saturday game in that series while ESPN has the Sunday night game.  MLB Network is televising the Braves home opener on Friday against the Phillies while FOX has regional coverage of Saturday’s game.
