Sportsbook – UFC 129 Previews

Sportsbook – UFC 129 Previews. UFC 129 is set for Saturday night in Toronto and odds are on the board at the sportsbook.  The feature bout has Jake Shields going up against Georges St. Pierre with St. Pierre a big favorite at the offshore sportsbook. Here is a look at all of the bouts for UFC 129.

Main Card
Welterweight Championship – Georges St. Pierre vs. Jake Shields – This is expected to be a competitive fight with St. Pierre getting the victory. He is about a 5-1 favorite at the sportsbook.  St. Pierre is without question the best fighter in the UFC and you can make a case he is the best fighter of all time. He is on a simply amazing streak of 30 straight rounds won.  Shields has won 15 straight fights and would seem to have a chance but there simply seems to be no match for St. Pierre.

Featherweight Championship – Jose Aldo vs. Mark Hominick – The other title bout is not expected to be any more competitive than the first one with Aldo a 5-1 favorite.  Aldo has been so tough on his feet that the only chance for Hominick would be to get Aldo on the ground but that is easier said than done.

Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Jason Brilz – This bout should be very competitive with the odds at the offshore sportsbook almost a pick.  It may not be an exciting bout though with both fighters looking to go to the ground and wrestle. Brilz may have the slight edge and get the win.

Mark Bocek vs. Ben Henderson – The odds on this bout slightly favors Henderson. The winner of this bout may get a future title shot while the loser will be off future pay-per-view card.

Randy Couture vs. Lyoto Machida – The Dragon is more than a 3-1 favorite at the Sbg global sportsbook to beat the UFC legend. This will be the last fight for Couture and he may get some support from gamblers who think he can go out with a win.
