Sportsbook Website – Alabama and Ohio State Dominate AP Poll

Sportsbook Website – Alabama and Ohio State Dominate AP Poll. There is no question at the sportsbook website or in the national polls that the top two teams are in college football are. Alabama is a clear number one while Ohio State is a solid number two.  Boise State is third in the poll but they lost ground this week with sportsbook experts and with writers in the AP poll even though they didn’t play. Alabama got 52 first-place votes in the AP poll while Ohio State got five first-place votes.  Boise State got just one first place vote.   TCU is fourth while Oregon is fifth. The Ducks jumped up two spots after they thumped Tennessee by a score of 48-13. The Ducks have been extremely impressive as they have won their first two games against the college football odds at SBG by a combined 120-13.

Virginia Tech Loss Hurts Boise State – You might not think that what another team does matters in the polls, but that is not the case.  Virginia Tech was thought to be a quality football team but they were upset at home by James Madison.  How does a team lose at home to James Madison?  The Boise State win over Virginia Tech in Week 1 doesn’t look nearly as good now.

Texas dropped to number six in the AP poll although they did get one first place vote. Oklahoma moved up three spots to number seven after their big win against the sportsbook odds as they routed Florida State.  Rounding out the Top 10 were Nebraska, Iowa and Florida.  The second ten begins with Wisconsin at number 11 and they are followed by Arkansas, South Carolina, Utah and LSU.  Auburn is at #16 followed by Miami of Florida who dropped five spots; USC who dropped two spots is at #18 while Stanford is at #19.

Michigan is Ranked – The Wolverines are back in the polls.  Experts at the sportsbook website may not have seen it coming but Michigan is back.  The Wolverines jumped into the AP poll at #20 after they upset Notre Dame. Michigan is followed by West Virginia, Penn State (how are they still ranked), Houston, Arizona and Oregon State. Those last three teams are new to the AP poll this week.  Falling out this week were Florida State, Virginia Tech, Georgia and Georgia Tech.
