Sportsbook Website – FedEx Cup Title on the Line This Week at Tour Championship

Sportsbook Website – FedEx Cup Title on the Line This Week at Tour. The FedEx Cup title will be decided this week at the Tour Championship and while Phil Mickelson is just 10th in the standings, he is the favorite at the sportsbook website to win this week’s season finale. There are only 30 players in this week’s event which means only the best in the world are competing for the title.  Mickelson is a slight favorite at the sportsbook with Dustin Johnson, Steve Stricker and Matt Kuchar right behind.

The top five in the FedEx Cup standings all control their own destiny this week.  If any of those five players wins the Tour Championship they will win the FedEx Cup title. That does not mean that other players don’t have a chance though.  In fact, if any of the players ranked 6-10 win they have a very good chance of winning the title.  You won’t see the name of Tiger Woods on the board this week as he didn’t even make the final cut which was the top 30.

Top Five – Matt Kuchar is the point’s leader heading into the Tour Championship and he is followed by Dustin Johnson, Charley Hoffman, Steve Stricker and Paul Casey.  If any of those players win this week they are the FedEx Cup champ.

Second Five – The second five that have a decent chance to win the title if they get the win this week are Jason Day, Luke Donald, Ernie Els, Martin Laird and Phil Mickelson.  Those players are ranked 6th through 10th so the higher their ranking, the better their chances.

20-1 or Less – With only 30 players in the field there is no question that anyone can win.  Players in addition to ones we already mentioned that are 20-1 or less at the online sportsbook are Paul Casey at 13-1, Adam Scott at 14-1, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk and Retief Goosen at 18-1 and Luke Donald at 20-1.

No Respect For Charley – Remember those top five we mentioned earlier?  Charley Hoffman is third in the points but he is considered a big long shot this week at the sportsbook website. He is 49-1 in the golf odds at SBG. It is very unusual to see someone with a chance to win the overall FedEx Cup title listed with those types of odds.
