T.O. Done in Buffalo

Sportsbook odds on the Buffalo Bills probably won’t be impacted too much but the Bills will not have wide receiver Terrell Owens next season. The Bills are not going to offer him a contract so T.O. will become a free agent.  Owens was pretty much a bust in Buffalo and the Bills were not very successful at the online sportsbook in Owens’ tenure.

Sportsbook had the Bills also releasing defensive end Ryan Denney and wide receiver Josh Reed. “We wanted to inform all three players ahead of the start of the free agency period so they could begin making their plans,” Bills general manager Buddy Nix said. “We just felt that was the right thing to do. All three have represented our organization with class and we thank them for their dedication and hard work.”  Sportsbook stats had Owens catching 55 passes for 829 yards and five TDs with the Bills.  “I would like to thank the great fans in Buffalo, Ralph Wilson & the Bills organization for all their supports this past season,” Owens said.

Sportsbook stats have Owens with more than 1,000 catches and almost 15,000 yards in his career.  Denney has 318 tackles and 23.5 sacks in his career as online sportsbook had it, while Reed has 311 catches for 3,575 yards in his career.

Other big names were also set to be released as sportsbook indicated.  The Jets are not going to bring back running back Thomas Jones since they can’t get him to come back for less money.  Jones would have received a $3 million dollar roster bonus next week and the Jets are not going to pay that.  Jones rushed for 1,402 yards and 14 touchdowns last sportsbook NFL season. He has 9,217 career rushing yards in 10 online sportsbook seasons.

Another team that is releasing a big name is the Arizona Cardinals. They are going to release cornerback Antrel Rolle.  There is still a possibility that Rolle could return to the Cardinals but for now he will be a free agent. Rolle is going to explore free agency and see what he can get.  It is unlikely he is going to get what he expects.  Arizona would have had to pay Rolle $12 million this sportsbook NFL season. Rolle was a Pro Bowl alternate this season and he has 12 interceptions and four touchdowns in his career as online sportsbook stats indicated.
