Last week was a statement game for the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas Longhorns. Alabama barely escaped with a 20-19 win in the final seconds with a late field goal. Soon, the Crimson Tide and Longhorns will be SEC rivals. This week the College Football betting spotlight and stakes are much dimmer. The ULM Warhawks are a perennial bottom feeder in the Sun Belt Conference. Second year head coach Terry Bowden has had a few moments. But he is trying to push a boulder up a mountain.

ULM at Alabama SBG Odds Overview
In this sportsbook situation, Alabama will draw the vast majority of betting action. None of the casuals will want to step into the Crimson Tide with the lowly Warhawks. Sharps are even cautious about stepping into the Tide. Most important of all is that Alabama is a reliable betting value at home despite perpetual overlay prices.

He threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Zach Rasmussen and an 18-yarder to Jevin Frett. Also, Alred Lake Luke made three receptions for 72 yards, including a 68-yard catch. Frett had six receptions for 71 yards.
Alabama Crimson Tide Team Overview
Last Saturday, the Alabama Crimson earned a 20-19 win against the Texas Longhorns as 21-point favorites. Alabama has a record of 2-0 straight up, 1-1 against the spread, and 0-2 over/under the total.
Correlate that two fourth-quarter plays by Bryce Young once again carried top-ranked Alabama to a victory. The Crimson Tide escaped Texas after Young’s scramble set up Will Reichard’s 33-yard field goal with 10 seconds left. Texas had pressured last season’s Heisman Trophy winner for most of the day. But went on to lose its grip on him late.
Young’s clutch plays rescued Alabama on an uncharacteristically sloppy day for the Crimson Tide. To illustrate, Alabama struggled with penalties, dropped passes, and was forced into six consecutive punts in one stretch. Texas stuffed Alabama on fourth-and-inches late to set up a go-ahead field goal by Bert Auburn with 1:39 remaining. Overall, Young was 27-of-39 passing for 213 yards with the scrambling TD throw to Jahmyr Gibbs, giving Alabama a 17-16 lead. Jase McLellan had an 81-yard touchdown run for Alabama in the first quarter.
Also, Young spoiled what could have been a program-defining victory for Texas after last season’s 5-7 finish.
Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers was knocked out with a shoulder injury at the end of the first quarter. Sarkisian said Ewers had a sprained clavicle and would have more tests to determine the severity.
But the steady hand of backup Hudson Card and an inspired defense helped Texas build a 16-10 lead early in the fourth. Yet Texas could not finish.
