Unbeaten Teams Lead AP Top 25 Again Sportbook

Sportbook has favored Florida, Alabama, Texas, TCU and Cincinnati in almost every game this season and those five teams lead the AP Top 25 college football poll. Florida is again #1 while Alabama is at #2 followed by Texas, TCU and Cincinnati.  There are still critical games remaining as the college football offshore sportsbook season winds down and the poll will change.

Sportbook this past week had all five teams rolling to easy victories this past week. Following the Top 5 it was Boise State at #6 followed by Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Ohio State and Oregon.  Florida received 36 first place votes this offshore sportsbook week while Alabama had 13 and Texas 11.  The only change as sportbook notes was at #10 where Oregon moved up.  LSU fell down to #17 after blowing their game to Mississippi. The Rebels moved back into the rankings at #20 after their upset sportbook victory.

Oklahoma State was at #11 this sportbook week followed by Penn State, Iowa, Virginia Tech and Clemson.  Oregon State is up to #16 this week in the AP poll as sportbook info indicates.  Oregon and Oregon State will play a week from Thursday in offshore sportsbook odds for the Pac-10 title and a trip to the Rose Bowl.  LSU is at #17 followed by BYU, Miami and Mississippi.  California jumped back into the poll at #21 after their win against Stanford.  Utah is at #22 followed by North Carolina, USC and Houston.

The Tar Heels were ranked earlier in the sportbook season but lost their first three conference games to fall out of the Top 25. They have gotten hot though, winning four straight as sportbook results show and now are back into the AP rankings.  The ACC has five teams ranked in the Top 25 and that is the most of any college football conference. This sportbook week there were three teams that fell out of the AP Top 25 poll. Those teams were Stanford, Wisconsin and Rutgers.

This week in sportbook action favored Texas against Texas A&M on Thursday while Alabama is favored at Auburn on Friday. Saturday’s action at the offshore sportsbook has #1 Florida favored against Florida State.  If all three teams win as expected in sportbook results, then Texas would play the winner of the SEC Title game between Alabama and Florida for the national championship.
