Basketball Betting: Clippers vs. Lakers
It's an all Hollywood showdown as the Clippers and Lakers, both of Los Angeles meet tonight in Tinseltown. The Lakers will be occupying their normal bench location alongside Jack Nicholson when the tip off is held in the Staples Center at 10:35 PM ET. The game will be the second half of a NBA doubleheader on ESPN following the Heat-Knicks contest.
NBA Gambling: Spurs vs. Hornets
Its game one tonight, of an actual 82 game NBA season, for the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Hornets. The opening tip off in New Orleans Arena is scheduled for 8:05 PM ET with the game being available to view on the NBA Network.

They have resigned free agent point guard Deron Williams to a $98 million deal and went out and obtained another highly touted guard, Joe Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks. They gave up 5 players and a lottery protected draft pick to secure his services.

With the 2012 NBA Draft over, much of the focus around the league will turn to trades. A few teams like the Heat and the Thunder have a successful core to build around, but a number of other organizations are looking to make significant moves in the coming months to put them in playoff contention going into next year.
