NFL Preseason Odds: Cowboys vs. Raiders
Are you ready for some football? I realize fifteen other NFL preseason contests are already in the books, but this is Monday night! Last week's Thursday night addition of Monday Night Football doesn't count as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, it will be the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders kicking it off on ESPN in the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum at 8:00ET.

The St. Louis Rams make the short journey to the Raceway City to go up against the Indianapolis Colts in a 2012 NFL preseason contest Sunday. Its an afternoon affair at Lucas Oil Stadium with the kickoff scheduled for 1:30ET. This one matches up last years two worst teams.
NFL betting: Vikings vs. 49ers
The Vikings of Minnesota sail their ship to the coast of the Pacific Ocean to meet up with the San Francisco Forty Niners on Friday in another NFL preseason opener. Kickoff is scheduled in Candlestick Park at 9:00ET.
It was ugly for Minnesota as they endured their worst season in 51 years a year ago, finishing up at 3-13 and last in the NFC North standings. For all that, not much has changed on the team heading into the 2012 campaign.

NFL Preseason Odds: Packers at Chargers
The Green Bay Packers will have to make a long journey to face the Chargers in San Diego on Thursday, but head coach Mike McCarthy said the long flight will be worth it for the opportunity to "hit" someone from another team after a week of practice. The first kickoff is scheduled for 8:00ET in Qualcomm Stadium and you can watch all the action nationally on ESPN.
Football Betting: Jets Unveil Tim Tebow Wildcat
Tim Tebow has found another calling. This one doesn't compare with his spiritual beliefs, but as far as New York Jets fans are concerned it's a good one.
The wildcat formation was for years used only by a handful of NCAA teams with gifted running backs who would assume the quarterback position in the shotgun formation. Upon the snap of the ball, the runner would take off on a sprint to either side of the field and be off and running.
