Online Sportsbook: Texans vs. Cardinals

Would it be fair to say that the Houston Texans six-game losing streak was enough to give head coach Gary Kubiak a stroke? Actually, what he had was a mini-stroke (transient ischemic attack, or TIA), which is good though not great news. While he didn’t have a full-on stroke, he may have one within a year, if he’s among the one in three people who have a full stroke after a TIA.

NFL Sportsbooks: Jaguars vs. Titans

Could it be that the bye week will prove a turning point for the 0-8 Jacksonville Jaguars, as they visit the Tennessee Titans this Sunday 10th? According to the -13 point spread NFL sportsbooks are favoring the Titans with, it doesn’t seem likely.

Online Sportsbooks: Bengals vs. Dolphins

Both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Miami Dolphins are nearing toward Week 9 with similar 4-game streaks. There is a huge difference though, and it’s the fact that it’s been a winning streak for the Bengals, and a losing one for the Dolphins. Most of each team’s previous four games have been relatively close, except for a Cincy 49-9 blowout against the New York Jets last week. In fact, Miami has lost three of those four games by ten points or less. They even seemed poised to go back to their early season winning ways versus the New England Patriots. The Bengals have a 2.5-point online sportsbooks advantage.

Sportsbook Odds on Redskins vs. Broncos

This NFL Sunday Week #8 with the line to Bet on NFL for the game at 4:25PM between the visiting Washington Redskins (2-4, 3rd in NFC East) and the Denver Broncos (6-1, 2nd in the AFC West) whom are favored at opening line of -13 at the Online Sportsbook. The game being played at the Invesco Field at Mile High in Denver Colorado.

In Denver’s game this past week with the Colts, Peyton Mannings trek into history was halted as the team's record became undefeated at 6-1 with the 1st loss of the season which will make this Sundays game very difficult for the visiting Redskins.  In the game against the Colts, Manning seem to have his most difficult time throwing the ball this season as the ball wobbled more as the game drew near to the end.  Many of his problems stemmed from the tremendous pressure the Colts defense applied, as he was sacked four times which is the most since back in a game in 2007.

Online Sportsbooks: Panthers vs. Buccaneers

The Carolina Panthers versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers rivalry is one of the most recent (dating from 1995), but it is also one of the most intense and even as well. This Thursday 24th they will meet for the first time this season at a point where Tampa Bay badly needs a victory but is not very likely to get one, at least as far as online sportsbooks go, which are favoring Carolina with a -6 point spread. The Bucs are 0-6, and since Josh Freeman is already long gone, one has to wonder who head coach Greg Schiano is blaming now, unless he´s chanting mea culpa. Or he may cite the training camp MRSA outbreak and get Raymond James Stadium closed down. That might save the Buccaneers further embarrassment.

Online Sportsbook: Broncos vs. Colts

This Sunday 20th will mark the return of Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning to Indianapolis. Indiana Colts fans are probably experiencing mixed feelings about this homecoming of sorts for Manning. Some may give him a hero’s welcome, while others may resent the fact that he only won one Super Bowl for them when they were expecting a dynasty. Manning himself may feel ambivalent; obviously he must have very fond memories of the 12 years he spent on Indianapolis. On the other hand, his departure was less than auspicious, and though it may have been what was best for business then (and Denver’s last season as well, as this one, prove that it was anything but), it showed Indy’s front office to have a very brief memory.

NFL Sportsbook: 49ers vs. Jaguars

The NFL International Series returns to London’s Wembley Stadium in England this Sunday 27th for a game pitting the San Francisco 49ers versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. To say that the Jaguars are underdogs is an understatement. In fact, it’s the term for female dogs that actually comes to mind when this team’s numbers come to the fore.

Online Sportbook: Texans vs. Chiefs

On Sunday 20th, the Kansas City Chiefs will face a team that is the ghost of seasons’ past. The Houston Texans have only won two games and have no prospects of winning a lot more, after four defeats in a row. The Chiefs have nothing to fear, though. At 6-0 so far, they have certainly exorcised last year’s demons.
