Federer’s Tennis Betting reign status at SBG Global

Tennis Betting Federer’s reign status at SBG Global.  George Bush and tennis betting great Roger Federer have something in common: both are lame ducks.Bush, of course is serving out the last few months of his controversial presidency and Federer is serving out the last few days of being ranked number on in the bet on tennis rankings. With startling losses in the early rounds of the tennis betting tournaments the past two weeks Rapha Nadal looks poised to take over the number one tennis ranking sooner than many bet on tennis experts expected.

Entering the Cincinnati tournament Federer still had a strong grip on the tennis top ranking and needed only to make it past the semis to ensure he would remain atop the bet on tennis rankings. But that looks like fanciful thinking now for most tennis betting fans.  Federer was most recently defeated in second round of the tennis betting action to unheralded Gilles Simone. Credit must be due to Simone for scorching the court with his serve and playing the best game of his young tennis betting career, but no one expected Federer to fold.

The result of this monumental loss is that Nadal will now be crowned the world’s number one if he wins this tournament. Winning a bet on tennis tournament with a strong field is never easy, but the young Spaniard has made it seem common place winning the last five tennis tournaments he’s entered. A sixth straight win seems more than likely for tennis fans.

And so it would seem that Roger’s magical ride atop the world of tennis has officially come to an end. Granted Nadal is not yet number one; at just 27 years of age (in a week) Federer is far from an old man. But tennis experts and fans alike can see the writing on the wall.  Federer game has slipped, of that there is no secret and his single victory in the 2008 tennis betting schedule certainly attest to.

But more than anything Nadal has simply lifted his game to another level and Federer can no longer perform at the level necessary to catch the young tennis betting phenom.  Perhaps having a rabbit to chase will help get Federer back into top form, but chances are the Swiss maestros reign has come to an end.
