Wimbledon tennis odds haven’t seen very many upsets in recent seasons with Roger Federer dominating men’s tennis. The women’s side hasn’t seen many either with Venus and Serena Williams winning six of the last eight Wimbledon betting titles. Wimbledon tennis in 2008 are more wide open in recent years although a glance at the Wimbledon betting odds might not indicate that fact.

Federer looks more beatable than ever in Wimbledon odds while the women’s side is very wide open in Wimbledon odds. Many Wimbledon tennis odds experts believe that Federer will lose Wimbledon on 2008. That would be an upset considering he has won the last five Wimbledon titles. That does mean that value can be found in the 2008 Wimbledon Championships.

Wimbledon tennis odds show that Federer is listed at about 6-5. He is followed by Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. They are both about 4-1 in Wimbledon odds. The only other two players given any chance on the men’s side are Andy Murray and Andy Roddick who are both about 15-1 in Wimbledon odds.

The women’s side is much more competitive in terms of Wimbledon odds. Maria Sharapova is the favorite in Wimbledon betting at odds of about 5-2. She is followed by Serena Williams who is about 3-1 in Wimbledon tennis odds. Venus Williams and Ana Ivanovic are both about 5-1 in Wimbledon odds. Other women at least have a chance in Wimbledon betting, unlike the men’s side where only a few are given any shot. Also with Wimbledon tennis odds of 20-1 or less are Dinara Safina and Svetlana Kuznetsova. Lindsay Davenport, Victoria Azarenka and Nicole Vaidisova, Amelie Mauresmo, Agnieszka Radwanska and Anna Chakvetadze are all listed at about 40-1 in Wimbledon tennis odds.

2008 could be the year that a longshot comes through at Wimbledon. There are some really good values, especially on the women’s side. The men’s side is not as deep but a player like Andy Murray could be worth a shot, especially since Federer looks beatable in 2008.
