For any fan of UFC Main Event betting or UFC Fight Night betting the name Kenny Florian almost certainly rings a bell.
He’s one of the better known light weights in the entire UFC betting and one of the most popular fighters in MMA wagering.
On Wednesday March 31 he’ll be featured in the UFC Fight Night odds when he takes on Takanori Gomi of Japan. For Florian it will be a return to his UFC betting roots as he also appeared in the first UFC Fight Night odds ever, defeating Alex Karalexis in 2006.
Florian has come about as close as any fighter in the MMA betting can to the title without actually winning it. Always ranked among the top Lightweights in the UFC fight odds he just hasn’t been able to seal the deal and claim the top honor in this popular betting sport. Twice he’s had a shot at the UFC betting title and twice he’s lost.
Now, a bit past his UFC Fight Night betting prime, he’s still a top competitor for the belt and convincing win against Gomi in the upcoming UFC Fight Night odds competition would go a long way in securing him perhaps even another UFC betting title shot.
At 31 years of age Gomi is a seasoned fighter of many MMA betting matches and a career record of 31-5-1 in 37 matches. A veteran of Japanese MMA wagering competition this will actually be his first appearance in the UFC Fight Night odds competition. On paper he hardly looks to be a challenge for Florian who has fought a much higher class of MMA betting opponents in his career.
Look for Kenny Florian to give his sports betting career a jump start with a decisive win over Gomi in the UFC Fight Night competition. Florian may not be the fighter he once was but he should emerge from this UFC betting challenge with a big win.
