If there is one thing that MMA fans have come to learn it’s to expect the unexpected and the UFC 119 odds action should be no different than any of the other highly un predictable UFC Main Events that we’ve seen over the years.
And while the marquee out front of the Conseco Field House on Saturday September 25th in Indianapolis, IN might not have some of the star power and cache that we’ve come to expect in a UFC Main Event the matchup should be as good as any and fans and bettors should be in for a wild ride.
On the Main Card there are at least two excellent bouts. So good in fact, that the main billing for the UFC 119 betting event had to be split between two fights. The first and perhaps the real Main Event of the evening features perennial heavyweight contender Mirko Filipovic versus former heavyweight champ Frank Mir. This one should be a battle to the death of two big men fighting to remain relevant in a weight class that’s newly infused with exciting young talent. Anything could happen in this bout and even though Mir is the favorite in many of eth UFC 119 odds, Cro Cop is certainly capable of winning this one.
The other Main Event fight includes two feisty light heavyweights when Brazilian Antonio Rogerio Nogueira squares off against American Ryan Bader in the UFC 119 betting action. Bader is an exciting young fighter and just might be the face of the weight division for years to come. He’s a perfect 11-0 coming into this fight and humiliating Kevin Jardine in his last match. He should be 12-0 after this after defeats the much more experienced Nogueira in their UFC 119 odds matchup.
In the Preliminary Card action watch for newcomer Matt Mitrione to make a statement live on Spike TV. Mitrione is an up and coming fighter who is still raw, with just 2 UFC bouts to his name, but he’s up the rankings quickly with impressive victories in both. He’s still learning as a fighter but he’s a terrific athlete and very smart. Look for a convincing win in this match and for Mitrione to be on the Main Card next time he fights in a UFC Main Event.
