UFC 126 Betting Preview: Bader Vs Jones Could Be Interesting.  When the matchups for the UFC 126 betting action were released there was one fight –one fighter, to be more precise- that dominated the fight card.  The Main Event for the UFC 126 odds action will feature the greatest Mixed Martial Artists of his generation and perhaps the greatest ever: Anderson Silva.

Silva is a man who needs no introduction to UFC fans and when he fights the entire MMA universe grinds to a halt.  There is simply no bigger name in the sport and obviously he’s the reason that most fans will be tuning into this event.

But to simply focus on the Silva fight would be to ignore not only some terrific talent but some great matchups at the February 5th UFC 126 betting event.

The Main Event has several intriguing matchups but the Jon Jones vs Ryan Bader might just be the best on the Main Card.  Neither of these fighters is extremely well known but they’ve been hugely successful in the their brief UFC careers and one of them should be on the fast track to the light heavyweight title fight after this match in the UFC 26 odds action.

Jones is a fairly new face to the sport and with an 11-1 record has had success.  He lacks fights against big name competitors but has an impressive win over Vladimir Matyushenko in his most recent matchup, a TKO to be precise.  And that’s what makes Jones so dangerous, his KO potential.  For someone with a wrestling background he’s won 7 of his 11 matches by knockout and is a solid both on the mat and exchanging blows.

This bout against Bader will be the toughest of this UFC career to this point.  Bader is also a highly successful mixed martial artists who is on the cusp of a title fight.  He’s perfect in his MMA career (12-0) and 4-0 in UFC sanctioned events.  He’s also fought better competition than Jones has and has wins over Antonio Noguiera and Keith Jardine in his two most recent fights.

These are two highly skilled fighters on the rise and even though Jardine is the more proven fighter of the two look for Jones to continue his meteoric rise up the light heavyweight rankings.
