UFC Betting basics at SBG Global Sports Betting

UFC betting basics begin with understanding the two basic options you have for UFC betting fights. You have the choice of betting on a fighter to win the bout in UFC odds or you can choose to bet on the amount of rounds a fight will go.  Let’s look at both of these UFC choices.

UFC is done with money lines. This means you have no pointspread and you are just betting your fighter to beat the other fighter or you are betting on how many rounds a fight will go. For example, let’s say you have a marquee fight and the rounds option is set at 1.5 rounds in UFC betting odds. You might see the under at -150 and the over at +130. In this UFC  rounds option you would be risking $150 to win $100 on the under or the 15/10 equivalent. If you bet the under you would risk $100 to win $130 or the 10/13 equivalent in UFC betting. To win the over the fight would have to last more than half way through the second round.

Conversely, to win the under in UFC odds the fight would have to last less than half way through the second round. You really need to be aware of how long the fight is scheduled for. Most major title fights in UFC betting are scheduled for five rounds while fights on the undercard are set for three rounds. If you are looking at UFC options on the rounds you want to look at the type of fighters and their styles. You also want to look at past results. Some fighters win quickly with their style in UFC while others take longer. If you have two fighters that look to throw a lot of punches and land big shots then the under in UFC is probably a good bet.

If you are looking at UFC you will notice that the UFC odds on which fighter will win the bout are the most popular. It seems gamblers like to bet on one fighter against another above everything else in UFC betting.
