How do fighters win in UFC Betting at SBG Global?

January 22nd, 2021 UFC Betting

UFC betting matches will be decided by knockout, submission or decisions. Let’s look at each of these and how they apply to UFC odds.

UFC options will sometimes include predicting how a match will end.  If you are predicting that UFC  will end by submission that means that the opponent either verbally submits or indicates he submits.

Submissions in UFC odds betting occur when a fighter is caught in a painful hold like an ankle lock or an arm bar. You may also see a submission when a fighter gets a choke hold. The difference in UFC in regards to other sports is that submission is considered an honorable way to lose.

Another way that UFC fights will end is by knockout. With a TKO the referee determined when the fight ends and stops the bout. There is no standing count so the referee can stop the bout whenever he decides a fighter can’t defend himself. The judging is done on the 10-point must system similar to what you see in boxing.

In UFC if all three of the judges determine that one fighter is the winner the decision is unanimous.  If two of the judges determine that one fighter was the winner and the third had the other fighter it is called a split decision in UFC odds. If two judges have one fighter and the other scored the fight a draw it is a majority decision in UFC odds.

There is also the possibility that a fight could be decided by a technical decision where a fighter is too hurt to go on. It is also possible that a UFC decision could be awarded due to disqualification. It is also possible a UFC  decision could be awarded if a fighter forfeits.

The other option that doesn’t happen much in UFC  is the draw. You can’t bet this option in UFC odds and it rarely happens but you should know it is possible. One judge would have to score the fight a draw while the other two judges chose opposite results.

Since there are three main ways UFC  bouts can end, the excitement can be great at the end of a match.
