Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is the UFC betting favorite to retain her title against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200 on July 9th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. And I personally agree. I mean, what’s not to like? She’s beautiful, dangerous, and is nicknamed ‘Cupcake.’ She’s just like a real-life Powerpuff Girl. Having gotten that out of my system, here are the odds for fans who bet on UFC:
Amanda Nunes 1½ (-235) +220
Miesha Tate 1½ (+195) -260
The ‘Lioness’ Nunes is not without her merits, though, and is as good as knocking people out as Miesha is at making them tap out.

Miesha has won her last five matches in a row, including her most recent in which she submitted Holly Holm with a rear naked choke – something which I would pay to see, and I say that from a purely UFC betting standpoint – at UFC 196 on March 5th, 2016 to win the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. Nunes is on a three-fight winning streak herself, with her latest bout being a unanimous decision win over Valentina Shevchenko at the aforementioned UFC 196 PPV event.
Miesha is one of the highest-profile members of the UFC roster, having appeared in films, magazines, and video games. However, mixed martial arts competitions are neither popularity contests nor beauty pageants, which means that Nunes does indeed have a fighting chance despite her UFC betting odds. This will be Miesha’s first title defense and the first time she and Nunes face each other, even though they both competed in Strikeforce previously.
