WNBA Betting Atlanta Dream vs. Seattle Storm

Time: 10:00 PM
Venue: KeyArena

Sportsbook odds for fans who bet on WNBA:

Atlanta Dream +8 (-110) 164 (-110) +330
Seattle Storm -8 (-110) 164 (-110) -410

The Dream lost their third straight game, 71-104 to the Connecticut Sun on Saturday and dropped their record to 4-4 this season. Atlanta has been so bad on the road that they couldn’t put away a Sun team that had not been able to win at home previously. Damiris Dantas led the Dream with 16 points while Bria Holmes, Elizabeth Williams and Brittney Sykes had 11 each. The good news for Atlanta is that their five-road trip – though Via Dolorosa might be a more accurate term – ends tonight in Seattle. The Dream are third in the Eastern Conference two games behind the Mystics.

The Storm have lost three of their last four games after starting the season 4-1. Their latest stumble came in New York in an 86-94 loss to the Liberty on Sunday. An Alysha Clark free-throw pulled Storm within one point late in the game but Kiah Stokes’ layup made it 87-84 with 1:15 remaining. A Seattle turnover on the next possession placed the win on a silver platter for NY. Breanna Stewart led the Storm with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Sue Bird finished with a season-best 21 points and Jewell Loyd added 19. “Put ourselves in a hole early on, it takes a lot of energy to fight back from that,” Bird said following the loss. “Down the stretch, they made more plays than we did. We had some costly turnovers and they were able to get just enough of a lead. When there’s 45 seconds, five is just enough of a lead to secure it.” The Storm are fourth in the West four games behind the Lynx.

Dallas Wings vs. LA Sparks WNBA betting preview

Time: 10:00 PM
Venue: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California

Sportsbook odds for fans who bet on WNBA:

Dallas Wings +11½ (-110) 170 (-110) +525
LA Sparks -11½ (-110) 170 (-110) -750

The Wings have dropped four of their last five games, including a 74-91 loss to the Lynx on Sunday. Karima Christmas-Kelly led Dallas with 21 points, but the Wings were just 3 of 17 from the three-point line and were outrebounded 40-24.  Dallas is 5th in the Western Conference 5½  games behind Minnesota.

The Sparks unexpectedly lost their third game of the season to the Wings on Friday but bounced back with an 89-87 win over the Mercury on Saturday. Chelsea Gray had 24 points and a career best-matching eight assists, while Candace Parker added 14 points, Nneka Ogwumike scored 13, and Essence Carson and Alana Beard had 12 each. The Sparks are the WNBA betting favorites to avenge their Friday loss to the Wings. The Sparks are second in the West 3½ games behind the Lynx.
