WNBA lines makers have their work cut out for them in the upcoming WNBA odds season as several teams look likely to be top contenders for this year’s WNBA title. With the Phoenix Mercury looking to defend their title from last year and the runner-up Detroit Shock looking to avenge their loss, these two teams will certainly feature prominently in the WNBA odds race. But they’re hardly the only competitive teams in the WNBA and the battle should be a fight to the finish.

WNBA odds makers are enamored with several teams to take the title in the WNBA odds this season but only time will tell which team will emerge as the champ. On paper Detroit looks very tough with a talented roster and coaching staff that certainly still must be bitter over the way the WNBA season ended for them last year. But anyone that wants to claim the top spot in the WNBA lines must of course go through Phoenix. The Mercury was somewhat of a surprise winner in the WNBA lines last year, but a champion is a champion and must be respected accordingly by the WNBA odds field.

There are handful of other teams as well that will be looking to make their mark in the upcoming WNBA lines. One team that the experts expect to make a big run at the WNBA title is the Indiana Fever. The Fever fell just short last season in the WNBA lines but this is a team with a supremely talented roster and a very legitimate shot at making the WNBA finals. Just ask any WNBA lines fan and the Fever will certainly be included in their list of top teams to watch in the WNBA odds competition. In fact, many people feel like the Fever may even have been the top team in the WNBA lines competition last year.

Another team that many people will also be keeping an eye in the WNBA competition is the Connecticut Sun which is a team on the rise. The team snuck into the WNBA playoffs last season and lost a heartbreaker in the opening round to Indiana. This year the team will be even better and looking to get past the first round of the WNBA lines playoffs.
